Using Origami in School Counseling

Join us as Daniel Alvarez, author and school counselor, presents on using origami in school counseling. Origami has been around for many decades, and it has been used for many different activities and reasons. Origami does have a basis for counseling and can help students improve their mindfulness, concentration, and self-confidence. Come and enjoy a hands-on presentation where a school counselor can learn how to use origami in the school counseling setting with regards to individual, small group, and guidance/SEL lessons. We will review different folds, and simple origami structures that can be used for all grade levels.
