A SOFT PLACE TO LAND: HELPING STUDENTS THROUGH THE ROUGH SPOTS

The past few years have been challenging for many students who have struggled with increasing stress, loneliness, depression, anxiety, and behavioral issues. In concert with our intuition, neurobiology leaves no doubt about the importance of creating a warm, supportive space for students. This strategy-heavy training explores how, by providing a soft place to land, we can help children make sense of their experiences and grow into adulthood with confidence.
