Reading Instruction: Secondary

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

An inability to effectively read for understanding serves as an impediment to secondary school success, postsecondary school learning, and opportunities to succeed within an increasingly competitive and knowledge-based work environment. In this session, Dr. Thea Woodruff will present instructional practices to support the teaching of reading to secondary students. Participants will delve into how to teach reading across instructional tiers, emphasizing how instruction can be intensified.
