North Star: Assessment Decision Making for Campus & District Administrators

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

The decisions made by campus and program leaders are critical to ensuring students receive the supports they need to access instruction and demonstrate their learning. Designed for principals, assistant principals, program managers, coordinators, and facilitators, this full-day workshop provides a deeper dive into assessment decision-making processes that impact student success.

Participants will examine common decision points within ARD, LPAC, MTSS, Section 504, and other support systems while gaining a stronger understanding of accessibility features, accommodations, designated supports, and alternate assessment options. Through practical scenarios and exploration of TEA resources, policy documents, and the Educator Guide, attendees will strengthen collaboration, improve decision-making practices, and build sustainable systems that support equitable assessment access and positive student outcomes.
