Building Strong Systems: SHAPE & TEA Tools for School Mental Health

This virtual workshop provides an overview of the School Health Assessment and Performance Evaluation (SHAPE) system, including its website, quality assessment tools, and resource library. Participants will learn how to create accounts, access custom reports and utilize free and low-cost screening and assessment measures to strengthen school mental health programming and sustainability.

The session will also include a review of TEA’s Behavioral Health and Practice Tools, offering practical resources to support implementation. Together, these tools help school systems jump-start efforts to improve school climate, strengthen supports, and promote student mental health and overall well-being.This workshop is intended for any professionals involved in school climate, mental health supports, and related services.

*The first 10 participants who register and attend the training will receive kits designed to support youth in crisis and with emotional regulation.*
Participants will be sent Zoom link before the training date.
