Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Enhanced Training - Classroom 20-21

This 4-hour initial training teaches participants how to safely manage disruptive and assaultive behavior. Completion of the training will certify participants to use verbal and nonverbal, de-escalation skills covered in units 1-7 & 10. Due to COVID-19 the physical intervention, disengagement, and holding skills will be taught in another workshop. This program meets the requirements for training in prevention and de-escalation techniques as mandated by SB 1196. Each participant will receive a copy of CPI's Nonviolent Crisis Intervention workbook via mail delivery. This session will cover the classroom portions only and the test will be taken electronically. Attendees will be able to participate in this webinar in their district via the Zoom link provided in the registration confirmation email.
