Establishing an FIEP Program

.This one-day training is designed for district administrators and decision-makers. It is a step-by-step guide to Texas laws concerning facilitation of special education (ARD) meetings and the requirements that districts or charter schools must follow if they choose to establish such a program. The training is very much audience-participation based and assists participants to find their own answers to such questions as: who will be their facilitators; what training will they be required to have; how will parents be informed; what data will be kept; who will coordinate the program; and many more. Trainer, Nicholas Martin, personally developed this workshop with funding from TEA through Region 10 in the Dallas area.
