Active Learning emphasizes that all individuals learn best through active participation. Active Learning can be used with many individuals but it is especially beneficial for learners who are: blind and visually impaired, Deaf Blind, individuals who function at the 0-48 month level developmentally - no matter what their chronological age - and for individuals who experience global delays in physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development. Active Learning was developed by Dr. Lilli Nielsen of Denmark.
Come join us as we review the principles, implementation and evaluation of Active Learning. Follow up support and implementation will be provided as part of the training.
Must complete a team roster application and submit to workshop contact by January 15th. Application available under workshop materials (will need to register to session first).
