"New" 2019-2020 Local Needs Assessment Training

During this training, we will review the LNA process, legal requirements and the components of the LNA Toolkit. The Local Needs Assessment process that is required by the state MEP, requires a more comprehensive approach such as gathering and analyzing student performance data, evaluating the number of supplemental services provided and feedback data from various stakeholders. We will also demonstrate how the information gathered through the LNA can be used to inform the services districts use to meet the unique needs of migrant students and ensures that districts are continuously engaging in the improvement cycle.
