State Performance Plan Indicator 14 Training for Special Education Program Area Staff

The State Performance Plan Indicator 14 (SPPI-14) is a state reporting feature in the Texas Student Data System (TSDS). The SPPI-14 collection is used to gather data for students with disabilities enrolled in grades 9-12 who have exited a local education agency (LEA) and have a leaver record with certain leaver codes as reported in the 2020-2021 PEIMS Fall submission. This data is used to inform stakeholders, such as educators, parents, and legislators, about the effectiveness of educational programs and student outcomes for youth who are no longer in secondary school and had an Individual Education Program (IEP) in effect at the time they left school in accordance with 20 U.S.C. 1416(a)(3)(B).
In this workshop, we will train you on how to successfully submit this collection.
