Parents/Young Adult Version: Basics on Social Security Benefits, Earning Wages & Work Incentives

It is true individuals with disabilities can work, earn money, and retain the Social Security benefits they need for long-term services and support!
Part of transition planning is thinking and talking about employment during or after high school and how these incentives can help you plan a future.
The representatives from Imagine Enterprises will be presenting about Social Security Disability Benefits with the transitional youth, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Work Incentives such as Impairment Related Work Expense (IRWE), Blind Work Expense (BWE), Plan for Achieving Self-Sufficiency (PASS) and Student-Earned Income Exclusions.

If you have been interested in learning about these programs, come join us in learning about how these benefits assist our youths with disabilities.
