Pirate Math for Tier 2/Tier 3 Intervention

Ahoy mates! Arrrr you ready for PIRATE MATH? In this virtual session, you will learn about a NEW, FREE tool for Texas teachers! Join us for a journey into PIRATE MATH, a tool that is intended to help elementary students solve word problems in Tiers 2 and 3 intervention settings. These resources are developed in Texas and are aligned to STAAR standards. This FREE program is intended for use in small group and individual instruction in math intervention for elementary grades Yo Ho Ho, have I mentioned there are printable STAAR packet resources too? If you do not have access to printing, you will learn how to transform the packet pages into an interactive virtual lesson. These resources can also be used in Tier 1 instruction for introducing or reinforcing the approach for tackling problem-solving word problems. This session is only for full-time employees of schools in the Region One service area.
