8th Session: Differentiated Monitoring Support (DMS): Special Education Self-Assessment

The purpose of the special education self-assessment is to assist Local Education Agency (LEA) leadership teams in evaluating and improving their educational program serving students with disabilities receiving special education services.
Learning Outcomes:
(1) Be able to explain the required LEA activities under the Differentiated Monitoring System
(2) Be able to understand and complete the steps of the Self-Assessment
(3) Be able to use the Self-Assessment Rubric to determine Quality Levels
(4) Understand how to use the ASCEND platform to complete the Self-Assessment
