Innovative Makerspaces for School Librarians

School libraries are great spaces to engage in all types of learning. Innovative makerspaces can be an integal part of library programming, in this workshop librarians will explore and discuss the importance of a makerspace in the library. Participants will explore different kinds of makerspace including STEM, passive and active makerspace, and literacy driven makerspace. Participants will also be given different tools to fund and implement makerspace on all levels in the library. Presenter is Library Journal's 2022 Mover and Shaker, Jessica Fitzpatrick. This workshop is in person at the Region One ESC.
