How to Use Emotional Intelligence (EQ) to Thrive in the Classroom and Beyond

As you kick off a new school year, be sure to keep your health and wellness in check! Join us for a day-long event designed to encourage, celebrate, and launch you into the 2022-2023 school year equipped with emotional intelligence skills to support your journey as an educator. This workshop will increase participants’ capacity for emotional intelligence through self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
In addition to engaging session discussions, all participants will gain annual access to the online course companion and virtual access to resources throughout the school year.
Your presenter, Adam Saenz, Ph.D, earned his Ph.D. in School Psychology from Texas A&M University as a U.S. Department of Education doctoral fellow. Saenz is also a TEDx Yale and author of the best-sellers, The Power of a Teacher, Relationships That Work, and The EQ Intervention. Participants are sure to walk away invigorated with a fresh perspective and prepared to live out their calling with mindful passion!
