Region One ESC offers expert assistance, information updates and high-quality training to support counselors, social workers, and other school staff members designated to ensure the mental health and wellness of the children in Region One ESC. If a session is missed, please request as soon as possible since recordings are only available for a certain period of time, if available ang only the virtual sessions. Please check the listings. 9/28/2022 - The Texas Comprehensive Model (In-Person)

Texas Education Code 33.005 states that school counselors must “plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive school counseling program that conforms to the most recent edition of The Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs”. The session will cover a content overview of the TX Model guide, as well as the three stages of creating a comprehensive school counseling program (CSCP)
