Project TAPP- teaching , Autism and practitioner preparation for Paraprofessionals

Project TAPP- teaching , Autism and practitioner preparation will cover the Basics of autism spectrum disorder, Promoting independence ,Evidence-based practices for teaching new skills, How to address motivation and skill deficits, Preventing and responding to challenging and disruptive behaviors, Increasing communication, Maximizing small group instruction, and Tools for data collection. This two day training will be interactive and hands-on to promote learning outcomes. All paraprofessional
and teacher teams working with students with ASD are invited to attend! The training will also include three months of follow-up support to teacher/paraprofessional teams. Day two training date will be forthcoming!
