Cybersecurity Basics for K-5

Cybersecurity Basics is a free introductory course for students in grades K-5 from Cyber.org. While cybersecurity is a vital aspect of our modern life, it can seem daunting at first. This course introduces cybersecurity topics that affect our everyday life in plain, simple language ensuring it is accessible to all. The course can be taught in any order and by any teacher. Everyone in attendance will receive access to the course. The course explores various ways we protect data and information through people, processes, and technology; the types of attacks that must be defended against; and the concepts used to secure information, networks, and physical assets.
