Literacy and the Migrant Education Student - Secondary

Traditionally, migrant education students have generally faced challenges maintaining grade level literacy skills due to their migratory lifestyle. Come build strategies to quickly assess your migrant students’ abilities and increase your ability to differentiate instruction accordingly using a balanced literacy approach. All participants will leave the session with a set of novels targeted for migrant learners.
