CACFP: Whole Grain-Rich Foods (1:00pm - 5:00pm)

Participants will learn how to identify components of a whole grain. They will be presented with information that will assist in determining what constitutes a creditable and non-creditable whole grain rich product. They will evaluate product labels to determine if the ingredients meet the whole grain rich criteria for school meals. Lastly, they will become familiar with identifying examples and acceptable documentation that the grain items served meet whole grain rich criteria.
