First Annual Blended Learning Conference - “Blended by Design“
Transform your students’ learning environment from traditional to one that combines online digital media with traditional classroom methods. The Blended Learning model is an exciting way for students to learn, giving them elements of control over the time, place, path, and pace of their own learning.
The Region One Center for eLearning invites you to explore the journey of Blended Learning and discover how it can revolutionize your students’ learning to a more personalized level. Engage with national experts on blended/personalized learning, including keynote speaker Dr. Kecia Ray, Executive Director of the Center for Digital Education and former president of the International Society for Technology and Education (ISTE), an organization which believes in allowing students to take charge of their own learning by equipping them with powerful learning tools. Participants in this workshop will have first-hand experience with models of blended learning.
Districts are encouraged to attend as a team to explore the many possibilities of blended learning. Superintendents, chief learning officers, curriculum directors, technology directors, instructional technology staff, instructional coaches, lead teachers, and interested others will be given the opportunity to collaborate during this conference.
