Successful Program Operations in CACFP is geared to implement recommendations and mandates from the Texas Department of Agriculture. Marked by a major milestone in the efforts of New Meal Pattern to be implemented on October 1, 2017. Region One ESC is providing guidance to further develop the essential functions of the Child and Adult Care Food Program. Each guideline discussed corresponds to an essential function of the CACFP successful program operations.

Now is the time to employ new strategies and new ways of looking at the operation of the program. It is our hope that these guidelines will be widely distributed and implemented to the CACFP across the Region for future planning and management.
La operación de los programas exitosos en el CACFP está orientado a implementar las recomendaciones y mandatos del Departamento de Agricultura de Texas. Marcado por un cambio importante en los esfuerzos del nuevo patrón de comida que se implementara a partir del 1 de Octubre de 2017. El Centro Región Uno proporcionara orientación para desarrollar las funciones esenciales del Programa de Alimentación para Niños y Adultos. Cada tema corresponde a una función esencial del CACFP.
