Webinar: Partners in Literacy and Learning

SLPs play a key role in literacy and classroom success, collaborating with teachers to identify and assist children at risk. To this partnership, SLPs bring knowledge of the bidirectional relationship between oral and written language, as well as skill in addressing other key elements such as executive functions, including working memory, attention, and self-regulation. This webinar will help SLPs:
1. recognize the connections between oral language and reading;
2. identify roles for the SLP in supporting literacy and classroom success
3. develop strategies each for improving decoding, comprehension, and
memory.
