WIL-CAM COOP----Writing FIEs Step by Step using XBASS

According to CFR 300.304 in conducting evaluations, the LEA must use a variety of assessment tools and strategies to gather relevant functional, developmental, and academic information, including information provided by the parent, that may assist in determining: whether the child is a child with a disability; and the content of the child's individualized education program, including information related to enabling the child to be involved in and progress in the general education curriculum, or for the preschool child, to participate in appropriate activities. During this session participants will learn about the FIE process and will go through the process step-by-step. Participants will be provided with a case study in which they can practice the skills learned throughout the session. The Cross Battery assessment process will be reviewed.
