Don't We Already Do Inclusion? (K-5th Grade)

Dr. Paula Kluth's presentation is fill with ideas for teaching diverse learners. The activities, examples, and illustrations in this workshop are designed to help participants refine their vision and skills when it comes to inclusion. They will explore how many learners have been excluded from literacy experiences that are inclusive, rich, and challenging. Participants will also learn some strategies for including and supporting students with disabilities in reading, writing, speaking, and listening activities. Ideas for enhancing skills in comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary will be highlighted. Come and learn about how we can give all students - ranging from those with significant disabilities - access to the literate community.
