In this one-hour session you will learn the basics of RTI - What it is, what it is not, and common misconceptions about the framework that may lead to concerns with implementation. In this session, you will learn about the RTI conceptual model, and related resources to best understand this model from an instructional perspective. You will then hear an ACTUAL RTI case from the field with questions and general guidance provided. To be selected to share your case, registration at least 3 days prior to the session is recommended. (All case details will remain confidential during the discussion.) The intended audience is: central office leadership (C&I, Bilingual, 504, GT, Special Ed), principals, assistant principals, and other support staff for RTI, parents, community members.
