Learning Over Lunch RTI Series: Session 4 Are our interventions research-based? and Case Scenarios

In this one-hour session you will learn about what constitutes a "research-based" intervention...the results might surprise you! You will be guided to resources of interest including a discussion about intervention "efficacy" and what factors might threaten the validity of the student progress monitoring data depending on how interventions are used. You will then hear an ACTUAL RTI case from the field with questions and general guidance provided. To be selected to share your case, registration at least 3 days prior to the session is recommended. (All case details will remain confidential during the discussion.) The intended audience is: central office leadership (C&I, Bilingual, 504, GT, Special Ed), principals, assistant principals, and other support staff for RTI, parents, community members.
