In this one-hour session you will learn what research says about RTI at the secondary level. You will understand how a school-wide effort that is concentrated on literacy (paired with behavior), is one of the key ingredients to making RTI work at the secondary level. Several research-based literacy strategies will be shared.

You will then hear an ACTUAL RTI case from the field with questions and general guidance provided. To be selected to share your case, registration at least 3 days prior to the session is recommended. (All case details will remain confidential during the discussion.) The intended audience is: central office leadership (C&I, Bilingual, 504, GT, Special Ed), principals, assistant principals, and other support staff for RTI, parents, community members.
