Using the XBASS for LD Identification---ADVANCED LEVEL

LD Identification requires the interpretation of data from multiple assessments tools as well as the integration of multiple sources of data in order to make eligibility determination decisions (34 Code of Federal Regulations § 300.309. Determining the existence of a specific learning disability). During this session participants will learn about the use of Cross Battery as outlined on the Essentials of Cross Battery 3rd Edition in order to determine the presence of a Specific Learning Disability. Additionally, a step by step process for the use of the XBASS software will be reviewed with an emphasis on its use for the assessment of English Language Learners (ELLs). Guided practice will be provided.

***Participants MUST have thorough knowledge of XBA Essentials, MUST have taken Principles and Methods of Cross Battery Assessment 3rd Edition or XBASS Cross Battery Updates Beginner and Intermediate Level.
