Dr. Gorski's work centers on the misconceptions of poverty and educational opportunity. In his book titled, Reaching and Teaching Students in Poverty, he focuses on the Equity Framework and how we can make connections with students, families, and with each other. He will focus on the positive ways we can impact student achievement by understanding the benefits of teaching with an equity ideology mindset.
