Basic Advising Skills Training for Staff

Complete Attendance

This training is designed to provide staff that have contact with students on a daily basis the basic advising knowledge to effectively assist students, faculty and staff.The training is 12 hours long and is divided in three Friday mornings. The training will cover basic information and skills that range from degree and curriculum basics, Degree Works technology, campus resources, advising scenarios and discussions. This training is provided by the department of Comprehensive Advising and Mentoring Services.
