The Ability to Benefit Program at South Texas College

This session covers the implementation of the Ability to Benefit (ATB) program here at STC. ATB is a provision through the Department of Education that allows eligible Continuing Education students the opportunity to enroll in targeted, in-demand academic pathways leading to Level 1 College Certificates while they are seeking to obtain their high school equivalency (GED or other exam). Come hear about STC Continuing Education's innovative efforts and outcomes in recruiting non-traditional students through this measure.
