New and Enhanced Faculty Advising Training - Fall 2019

Complete Attendance

Faculty Advising is a crucial component of student success and completion at South Texas College. This training is 12 hours long and takes place over three Friday mornings. This training covers essential advising knowledge and skills that range from degree and curriculum basics, campus resources and Degree Works technology, campus resources and advising scenarios. At the end of this training participants will be able to advise, mentor and refer students confidently. Participants will be officially certified as "Faculty Adviser" upon completion of all parts of the training. This training is brought to you by the Office of Comprehensive Advising and Mentoring Services.

Full time,adjunct and dual credit faculty.
