Join us for this 100% online 9-week course beginning September 23 and ending November 25, 2020.

If you teach classes that are delivered 100% online at South Texas College, this course was designed especially for you!

Enrollment in online courses has grown exponentially. In spite of the many advantages of this course modality, online instructors face a variety of unique challenges not encountered in face-to-face instruction.

Instructors have many questions:

How will my students master core concepts and achieve the intended learning outcomes?
How do I know that the weekly learning activities are adequately preparing students to be successful on assessments?
Besides discussion boards, are there any other ways to engage online students?
What technologies can I integrate into Blackboard to enhance student learning?

Perhaps you have several years of experience teaching online, or you might be relatively new to this environment. In either case, our goal is to provide best practice instructional principles, strategies and resources to help you improve the quality of your students’ learning experiences through weekly assignments, discussion posts and a variety of resources that highlight best practices.

PREREQUISITE: Faculty must already have a course built in Blackboard.
