What is Gratitude?

Presenter: Billy Langley, Senior Buyer
The quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for something or someone and to return kindness. Gratitude is simply giving thanks for your blessings, which are many. I believe if you can learn something then it can become a skill. Easy to do (be thankful) and easy not to do (not be thankful). Why is it Important? Gratitude is important because it makes you appreciate what you have rather than what you don't have. This is not to say that all your problems will go away because your trying to be more grateful, but it will change your perspective and your attitude. (10 most challenging things in your life) What can it do for You? What are the Benefits of Gratitude?Gratitude has been known to increase your self esteem, improve relationships, help you sleep better, make you a more fun and loving person, and make you a better boss, employee and teammate. Being mindful of the things you've got going for you rather than what you're missing, you feel appreciative and optimistic about your life. (Your happiness is up to you and it all starts with gratitude.)
