Do you have students who claim they study for tests but are frustrated with their results? Have you observed that your students really don’t know how to prepare effectively for their exams? In this session, we will examine some of the reasons students have a false perception of how well they understand what they are learning. In addition, we will look at some strategies instructors can incorporate in their teaching to help their students improve their metacognition and study skills.
