GT, AP, and Differentiated Learning using Flipped Classroom

Focus: DIFFERENTIATION OF INSTRUCTIONAL PROCESS
Description: This training will combine three important elements for the AP teacher. They are: understanding the GT student, AP essential information, and exploring the Flipped Classroom.

TIME is a common challenge when individualizing instruction with hands-on activities. The concept of a flipped classroom tackles this contributing factor by taking the teacher-centered lecture from the classroom and opening it up to active learning in the classroom instead. Students learn at their own pace, resulting in more differentiated instructional opportunities.

(This training is not for teachers that will be assigned any Honor classes in the 2019-2020 school year. This training WILL NOT count for GT Annual Update for Honors teachers. Honors classes require specialized training that will be announced.)
