Computer Science Teacher Bootcamp

Activities vary based on faculty availability and lab space. An example of classes and activities include: teachers engaging in STEM Project Based Learning activities to design models incorporating grade-level TEKS and content which can be directly enacted in their classrooms. In the afternoon, teachers will learn Python, a language with an object-oriented approach aim to help educators write clear, logical code for small and large-scale projects for their classrooms. Teacher Boot Camp will be residential from Sunday through Friday utilizing Texas A&M University’s world-class faculty and facilities. All meals, housing and transportation while on campus will be provided by Aggie STEM.
