District Equity Planning Toolkit Questions and Support -BISD hosting for districts with 4 or more campuses. Held at Central Administration Building on Palm Blvd and Jackson (Sam's Stadium parking).
Per TEA:
Federal Title I, Part A Sec. 1112(b)(2) under ESSA requires all districts that receive Title I funds to develop a plan for how the LEA will identify and address any disparities that result in low-income students and minority students being taught at higher rates than other students by ineffective, inexperienced, or out-of-field teachers.
For 2018-2019 Equity Plan submissions, districts will be expected to update their 2017-2018 plans to ensure their plans match a set of Equity Success Criteria. Districts should submit the criteria check-list and their updated plans to ISAM by November 1, 2018. The criteria and more details can be found on the Texas Equity Plan Toolkit.

District/Campus administrators working with development of the District Equity plan to be submitted by November 1, 2018 by all districts receiving Title I, Part A funds.
