Workshop Registration Details

REIMBURSEMENT ONLY TO: PK-5 teacher who serve ESL students, RLA Middle School or High School English teacher who serve English Learners in the RLA class.
Description: The purpose of the online course is to provide supplemental training on Domain I, II, and III of the TExES (ESL) Supplemental #154 exam. This online course will review in context the significance of ESL education in public schools in Texas, explain the historical background across the United States, and specifically define terminology within each competency’s descriptive statements or components. The preparation course is free to Texas educators seeking ESL certification. Self-Register using the link: https://www.txeslprep.org/

Participants will earn 12 hours of CPE credit for this course and will be compensated for those 12 hours after taking ESL Supplemental Exam – 164 and reimbursement for exam fee.

Please submit the following documents to the Bilingual/ESL Program office to seek reimbursement:
1. ESL Certification Training Certificates after completing 12 hour online course ($300.00)
2. Copy of ESL Supplemental Exam – 154 Results (reimbursement for exam fee) ($116.00)

NOTE: AS PER CCISD-STIPEND FOR EXTRA DUTY ASSIGNMENTS, TEACHER MUST HAVE AN ESL ENDORSEMENT; MUST BE PROVIDING ELA INSTRUCTION TO CURRENT CLASS of ESL STUDENTS and assigned by the principal to be the ESL teacher for the year.
