Freddy Gonzalez Letters Project - Workshop Training 5 - April 22, 2023

Freddy Gonzalez’ mother, Dolia Gonzalez, donated over 150 letters that Freddy Gonzalez wrote between 1965 and 1968. MS RLA and MS Social Studies teachers will learn the historical significance of the letters, but also the writing stylistic elements. Teachers will collaborate and produce a historical journal that will be embedded in our Middle School Social Studies and RLA Curriculum. This project will allow our students to become familiar with the Life of Freddy Gonzalez and the sacrifices he endured while defending our country.
