Achieving Success for All Students

Students with disabilities need to be educated in the least restrictive environment to the maximum extent possible. When students with disabilities are served using inclusion practices for special education students, and given appropriate supports, the likelihood of student success is greatly increased. During this session we will discuss inclusive practices for special education students, the six co-teaching approaches, as well as the roles and responsibilities of the general ed teacher, special education teacher, and para-professional.
