Child Abuse and Human Trafficking

Michael Cuellar from the Children's Advocacy Center will be here to train participants to recognize and report child abuse and human trafficking.

? Recognizing & Reporting Child Abuse training - This training provides the tools to Recognize signs of child abuse. Learn proper reporting protocol. How to make a Report. Understand the importance of your role as a mandated reporter. Ways to prevent child abuse. This training is statistically proven to make 10 children safer for every 1 adult trained.

? Human/Child Trafficking Training - This official training is offered from the Child Sex Trafficking Prevention Team in San Angelo, which partners with: Local law enforcement, federal law enforcement, child protection court officials, medical professionals and other community leaders. This training will give insight into the many faces of trafficking, what to do if trafficking is encountered, and how the risk of trafficking can be reduced today, as well as looking into current topics that involve trafficking.
