G/T: Economically Disadvantaged Gifted/Talented Students

Economically disadvantaged students are often underrepresented in gifted programs. Meaningful discussions regarding the characteristics of G/T students from poverty as well as assessment and identification of these students will be explored. In addition, program services and instructional considerations for economically disadvantaged G/T students will be discussed as we encourage equitable representation of student populations in G/T programs throughout the state. On the day of the webinar, an e-mail with specific instructions, including the access link, will be sent to the email address we have on file for you. If you have not received it by 30 minutes prior to the start time, please contact the webinar facilitator, Donna Ashby, at dashby@esc7.net.
