Life Skills Overview and Effective Practices 21-22

Participants will receive training on the TXCAN State Network's Evidence-Based Practice Rubric in relation to TTESS. This TEA supported document was a collaborative creation by the special education specialists at all 20 Education Service Centers. The evidence-based practices for students with significant cognitive delays include: classroom structure, visual supports, positive behavior strategies, instruction, lesson planning, IEP goal writing, communication, and assessment. This workshop will provide hands-on practice to improve outcomes for students.
