Teaching Geography Concepts and Skills

It is more important than ever for teachers to be experts in thinking like geographers so they are able to teach their students to understand cultural & physical geography. What is geography? What does it mean to be a geographer? What does doing geography look like in the classroom? These questions are the basis of exploring geographic concepts, perspectives, and map skills in this hands-on workshop for 6th grade and World Geography teachers.
