PreLAS and LAS Links Administration Training - New Summerfield

Complete Attendance

This 3-hour in person workshop will prepare participants to administer and score the pre-LAS and LAS Links paper or online assessments. We will practice scoring student responses using the PreLAS and LAS rubrics, and be able to determine if a student is to be coded as English Proficient or as an English Learner based on the scores. The LAS Battery of Assessments has been adopted as the single, TEA-approved English language proficiency test for the identification of English learners, starting with the 2020-21 school year.
