Workshop Registration Details

Chapter 5 of the Dyslexia Handbook requires districts to evaluate and identify students who have dysgraphia. In this 3-day workshop, participants will explore the definition of dysgraphia, examine the required components of a dysgraphia evaluation, and receive training on the administration and interpretation of relevant portions of the Test of Orthographic Competence, Test of Handwriting Skills-Revised, and EITHER the Test of Written Language-4 OR the Feifer Assessment of Writing. Finally, participants will consider appropriate instructional recommendations based on formal and informal data gathered as part of a dysgraphia evaluation.
Note: participants must bring the 3 test kits and corresponding blank test record forms to the workshop as these will NOT be provided to participants. The test kits required for this training are: the Test of Orthographic Competence, Test of Handwriting Skills-Revised, and EITHER the Test of Written Language-4 OR the Feifer Assessment of Writing.
