Finding the Joy of Writing in Head Start

Complete Attendance

How do you engage your students in the writing process? Explore ways to nurture students' writing abilities with purpose, imagination, and voice. We will explore fun and easy ideas to build fine motor skills in the classroom. We will examine the writing process and how to connect students' natural storytelling to writing and bookmaking. Each participant will receive a copy of Joyful Writing in Pre-K by Fountas and Pinnell and ideas to engage students in writing daily through mini-lessons.
