The development of social and emotional skills is just as essential as the development of cognitive skills for young children. This session is intended to promote social and emotional skills through planful, playful, and purposeful activities. Participants will explore the following topics: self-concept, self-control, social competence, and social awareness. This professional development session is aligned to the Social and Emotional Development Domain of the Texas PreKindergarten Guidelines.
